How They Met:Through work - he worked at a hospital, and she was one of their clients. A long-distance romance from
St. Louis to Michigan (an 8 hour drive for Frank) and they were married a year later!
Hobby:No real hobby, but he did try to say A.S.A.P. - you can tell how much that mission means to him.
Job - Military - Retired:Retired from 40yrs of working with hospital computers. Frank also served his country with 6 years in the Marines and another 3 years with the National Guard!
From:An Army brat, born in Chicago says Marion will always be his home - his mom was born there, he attended high school there and it's where his parents are buried.
Why Trinity:He and his wife tried many local churches and one day his aunt suggested TUMC - after their 1st visit, they never went anywhere else. "Trinity was such a nice and welcoming church."
Joined Trinity:2012/2013
Hold Position/Volunteer:6 years as the Lay Leader and Missions Chairperson as well as runs A.S.A.P.
Advice you would give someone who's not sure about attending church:He read this once, and it stuck - If God's not real and you come to church what have you lost? If God is real and you come to church, what have you lost?
If you could have dinner with anyone in the Bible (NOT Jesus) who would it be:Paul - because Paul was 190% convinced, he started work and never stopped!
Favorite Hymn:How Great Tho Art
Favorite Book:Commanche - Frank was 12 years old when he read the book about a horse, and it made him WANT to read.
Favorite Local Restaurant:Cracker Barrell
Bucket List:While Frank doesn't have a bucket list - he's been to 46 ot of the 50 states and places overseas, so been there - seen that - nothing else ... he wouldn't mind winning the lottery!
Thank you, Frank, for all you do and for sitting down with me to talk about one of my favorite people at Trinity!!
