Carol Adams


From: Dallas, Texas

Spouse: Jeff - back in the day think Tom Cruise in Cocktail as this guy had game!

How they met: Jeff was a bartender at the well-known Bottle & Cork - friends wanted them to meet but when Carol walked in - Jeff was on the dance floor with 3 girls!

Retired: Carol was in Education with half of her career teaching at the college level. Prior to retirement she was teaching at North Myrtle Beach High School - Go Chiefs!


Why Trinity: Carol & Jeff came to Trinity when Pastor Mike was new to the church, and EVERYONE was so nice - Trinity was it!

Joined Trinity: They joined in September of 2014

Positions: Carol enjoys playing Bridge every Wednesday morning with what she describes as a GREAT group of caring individuals. She is also part of the very dedicated Office Volunteers as well as the Alter Guild and Bereavement Team.


Advice you would give someone who's looking for a church: Carol was quick to point out that at Trinity - you couldn't find nicer, more caring people. The people at TUMC are always there for you.


If you could have dinner with anyone in the Bible (NOT Jesus) who would it be:  Carol would choose Mary! She would want to know what it was like for Mary - what did Mary think about being with child - especially back then. How did others treat her, how did Joseph take the news. What was Mary thinking, feeling.


Favorite Hymn: In The Garden

Favorite Book: As an English teacher - that was a hard one for Carol to answer. However, her favorite author is Karen White.

Favorite Local Restaurant: Martini's

Bucket List: Carol has been so incredibly blessed throughout life that she doesn't really have a bucket list. Although, I think deep down it would be lunch with me! lol
